No way around it - it's Purple! The color of royals and this jaspe dyed rayon and cotton scarf. The threads were hand dyed by the weaver using twigs from the campeche tree (or logwood) gathered at the full moon to create this memorable purple color. Backstrap loom woven with white jaspe (or ikat) motifs of fish, corn & quetzal birds, the long-tailed national bird of Guatemala.
